Terms and conditions

Plaz is a platform that connects tenants and landlords directly. We are not a rental agency: we do not visit, rent out or manage homes, and we never take payment for a property.

We publish listings created by their owners, we help you compare them, and we pass your interest to the landlord. The rental contract is always concluded directly between the tenant and the landlord. Plaz is never a party to it, never acts as an agent or broker, and charges no commission.

You must be at least 18 years old. Give accurate information, keep your password private and use one account per person. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

• Only publish a home you are entitled to rent out.
• Show the real rent, real charges and real deposit. Under Luxembourg rules the deposit asked for a residential lease may not exceed three months of rent.
• Use photos of the actual property.
• Keep the status honest: pause it when you stop taking applications and mark it as rented once it is taken.
• No discrimination based on origin, nationality, family situation, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation or any other protected ground.
• Publishing is free. Listings stay online for 90 days and can be renewed.

• Apply only to homes you seriously intend to rent. One application per home.
• Give truthful information in your application.
• Be respectful in messages. Harassment leads to removal.
• You can withdraw an application at any time.

Never pay before verifying the property.

Plaz never collects rent, deposits or fees for a property, and no Plaz employee will ever ask you to transfer money for a home. Any request to pay before a visit and a signed lease should be reported through the report button.

Listings, photos and messages are created by users. We check reports and remove content that breaks these terms, but we cannot guarantee that every listing is accurate or still available. You are responsible for verifying a property before committing to it.

To the extent permitted by Luxembourg law, Plaz is not liable for the conduct of users, for a lease you sign, or for losses caused by inaccurate listing content.

You may delete your account at any time from your profile. We may close accounts that repeatedly break these terms, after notice where reasonable.

These terms are governed by Luxembourg law. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence. Questions: hello@plaz.lu.
